The exact time I finally took down Y’s ebook.
I still value that experience and what my first publication taught me. Although I still had a lot to learn, it was the right thing for me to do at the time. My abilities and writing style have evolved greatly since then. I’ve been through some hard lessons, but I feel like I’ve grown as both a person and a writer. For anyone who doesn’t know, Y is the fantasy ebook I self-published when I graduated from high school.
It feels like I’ve finally shut that door behind me and opened another.
