And two new lessons I can add to my observations. First, I’ve had to comb through my followers due to some . . . I’m going to word that as weird interactions. I’ve set a date to comb through them again. Any profile that looks suspicious (like a private account with a two word bio) is getting blocked. Past experience from other places online says that I need to be ruthless. The other lesson? Misunderstandings abound. Non-absolutes are absolutes, and vice versa. Being on the internet is rough sometimes.

I didn’t originally include an afterword, and I’d already written about making minor changes to the story. Later on is when I decided to edit chapter three and add an afterword. Yes, I can do that. I admit that I backdated it to the date of rerelease to avoid confusion among readers. Close observers may notice the dates, but I don’t mind admitting to backdating it. It’s no secret that something hasn’t sat right with Victim for me for the past few years. Unless something unexpected happens, this will be the last edit.

Ren J Easton may conflict with a pop singer from Atlanta who uses the stage name Ren Easton. I pointed this out in a comment on the original post. That wasn’t a confirmation, and I’ve actually moved more towards a different name since then. I still have a list that I’m considering. I won’t be changing anything for a while (probably not until I’m back in the states).
