In celebration of my official pen name change, I made all of my ebooks free for this past weekend. The promotion started Friday and ended 11:59pm Tuesday. I wasn’t sure how many downloads I’d get, but I posted on social media and hoped for the best. It was, after all, intended as a celebration.
Today I checked the results: 153 copies! That was much better than I expected. This number was split in between three different ebooks, but I’m still impressed. I hope my books are well-enjoyed 🙂
(By the way, I barely gained any more followers on twitter while undergoing the pen name change. From my perspective, anyone who was going to purchase a copy probably did so before I rereleased them. I don’t think this really impacted my sales, but I do hope that I gained some more readers from it.)
